My name is Colton Credelle (Cred-EL, not Creed-L).
I was born and raised in the South Suburbs of Chicago, IL. Growing up I never realized my passion for taking photos and designing. In fact, I originally wanted to become an archeologist or a doctor, but those dreams were quickly shot down. It wasn't until one family vacation when I snapped an amazing picture of the Niagara Falls while riding on a boat just 100 feet away; at that moment I absolutely fell in love with photography. In 2010 I packed up and moved to Grand Rapids to study Media Production at Calvin College. I had an amazing experience at Calvin, but the best part was I met my soon to be wife on the very first day of orientation!
After graduating in 2014 I started working for a few real estate companies as a Media Specialist and eventually a Marketing Director. Through my work I started doing a lot of print design and began to study and teach myself graphic design. I really enjoyed the process of designing; taking an idea in my head and bringing it to life. I’d often create things that I thought were cool in my spare time and post them on social media. Family and friends started reaching out for help with their logo or business card design and eventually they started referring me to THEIR friends who also needed help. Next thing I know businesses from all over were contacting me for my services. Sounds like the making of a business right? Fast forward to today, I’m working as a freelancer capturing memorable moments and designing thought-provoking visuals for various clients.
I'm an animal lover, a die hard Bears fan (Da Bears!). I love being outdoors but also appreciate a little quiet time at home. I will laugh at your corny jokes. I can be kind of a nerd sometimes, but nerds are cool now-a-days. I absolutely love to travel. I like riding my motorcycle, at least until something breaks and I don’t feel like fixing it. I love to dance. I'm a little sarcastic, but I tell myself that it makes me “genuine”. I have a weird addiction to popcorn. And most of all, I love spending time with the people that really matter to me!
